The Lulu Frock is the kind of dress that feels effortless while simultaneously radiating feminine elegance. It’s a dress you can wear casually or semi-formally depending on the fabrication and accessory choices. This comfortable, fit and flare dream features a rounded square neckline, lined cap sleeves, a built-in bra and best of all: no waist seam.

SEAM ALLOWANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE PATTERN
3/8 inch or 1 cm everywhere.
FABRIC
Jersey Fabric: use a fabric with at least 70% stretch see demo on how to find stretch percentage (not to be confused with content)
Fabric used is a 70% stretch bamboo rib by Blackbird Fabrics.
Make a toile before using your good fabric.
MATERIALS
1. 70% stretch jersey fabric (see yardage chart)
2. Clear elastic — 3/8 in (1 cm) width for sewing with domestic zigzag stitch, 1/4 in (6 mm) width for sewing with a 4 thread serger
*Clear elastic is preferable because its lightweight but you can use other elastic.
3. 1 in (2.5 cm) wide braided elastic for shelf bra.
SIZING AND FIT
Size 00 — 24 see size chart.
This is a fitted garment that requires at least 60-70% stretch jersey fabric.
Choose your size based on the closest group of measurements, relying more heavily on your over bust and waist measurements. If you are larger than a C cup, you will need to lengthen the shelf bra and potentially the dress between neckline and waistline.
The hip of this dress is flared so it will fit larger hips, see finished garment measurements.
Model is 5'4 (B:36 W:28 Hip: 38) wearing size 8. Good for 5’2” — 5’6"

PDF's are compatible with US letter or A4 paper. There is also a copy shop size (A0) if you don't want to piece them together.
